Navigating the landscape of secondary college education reveals a daunting truth—education is expensive. Reflecting on my journey at Central Michigan University a decade ago, the weight of student loans became a monthly reality. Looking back, I wish I had been better prepared, actively sought more scholarships, and tapped into the wealth of opportunities provided by local businesses.
Out of this realization, the Right Start Realty Scholarship was born. Our office is thrilled to contribute $1000 for the first time to a deserving local student who mirrors our values of dedication and commitment to excellence. While academic achievements will be assessed, there’s a deliberate absence of required GPA or SAT/ACT scores for this Illinois scholarship. Instead, we focus on the core attributes that truly matter. Eligible recipients must be enrolled at an accredited higher education institution during the 2024-2025 school year, having graduated from high school in Will, Kankakee, Grundy, or La Salle counties.
